| Bruce McPherson, PA-C obtained a Bachelor of Science in nursing at Westminster College and a Graduate Certificate – Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Utah Physician Assistant Program. He is board certified with the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants and specializes in orthopedic surgery. Bruce chose to pursue a career in medicine because he enjoys helping individuals and families find health and happiness. He has always been involved in sports and chose to specialize in orthopedic surgery to help patients recover from musculoskeletal diseases and injuries. Bruce finds great satisfaction in helping patients return to the activities they enjoy after surgery. In his practice, Bruce strives to effectively educate his patients, prepare them for surgery, and assist them in their postoperative recovery and rehabilitation. When he is not taking care of patients, Bruce enjoys officiating high school and college sports including, basketball, football, and baseball. He also loves working with young athletes, biking, and golfing. |

He is well-mannered, and low key
I have known Bruce McPherson for many years prior to being a patient. He is well-mannered, and low key when visiting with him. He is gentle and careful as a medical professional as well. I have well worn and arthritic knees and Bruce has administered Cortisone shots to them on several instances. Results have been very good, as I am able to continue working at my profession. These past few months I have been in severe pain from my knees and recently went back to Dr. McPherson to have the shots again, and despite a little pain at the initial injection, the shots have worked again at relieving my major symptoms at the joints. I felt better later the same evening and was able to walk up the stairs with much less pain and hindrance. It has been a week now since having the injections, and I am back at work with great results, and less pain. Thank you Dr. McPherson!!
