Why you should choose a gastroenterologist over a non-specialist for a colonoscopy

Choosing an experienced gastroenterologist is vital. Research shows that patients who have a colonoscopy performed by a non-specialist have a 39% greater chance of needing a repeat colonoscopy from a gastroenterologist.
