Angela received her Master of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) from Brigham Young University. She is board certified by the AANP and has had 16 years of nursing and first assist experience in a variety of different specialties.
Angela knew from an early age that medicine was the right career path for her. In her teenage years she fell in love with the health care field and the focus it had on helping others live their best life. Her connection to her specialty is personal, as she has had many family members and friends diagnosed with cancer. She recognized and appreciated the compassionate approach caregivers gave to the people closest to her during such a trying time in their lives and knew that she wanted to do the same for other people.
Not only is Angela distinguished academically, she is also very involved in community service, volunteering with many organizations such as the Hirsche Smiles foundation, where she assisted in over 20 medical missions to Guatemala and Mexico. Additionally, she helped low-income patients and those without insurance at the Volunteer Care Clinic.
Angela loves the career she is in and the opportunity she gets to focus on helping others. Meeting with people from all different walks of life and experiences fills each of her days with meaning.
Angela is originally from Orem, Utah and is currently living in Salt Lake City with her husband. Outside of work Angela loves anything and everything outdoors: snowboarding, hiking, camping, concerts and any kind of travel bring a smile to her face.
A provider's patient satisfaction rating is determined by patient responses to questions from the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) survey, administered by NRC Health.
Patients today have more choices than ever, including where, how and from whom they get care. That's why Revere Health believes it's important to provide access to transparent information, empowering our patients to make knowledgable decisions about their healthcare.
CAHPS surveys are funded and overseen by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) within the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
Patients receive the nine-question survey via email or phone call, and we publish provider ratings on Revere Health's website once he or she has at least 30 completed surveys.
