Ann Schmitt, MD grew up in a town with a physician who cared for her and family through illness and accidents, and she wanted to be that physician for others. Since becoming a doctor, she has been given the opportunity to take care of families with similar needs.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse, Dr. Schmitt attended medical school at the University of Washington. She completed a family medicine residency through the University of Utah, McKay-Dee hospital, where she was a chief resident the third year. Dr. Schmitt has been a board-certified family physician through the American Board of Family Medicine since that time.
Dr. Schmitt has practiced family medicine in North Ogden for seven years, Winona, MN for six years and is now back in North Ogden providing urgent care, where she has been for over a decade.
Staying healthy and fit with regular exercise and a wholesome diet is something that Dr. Schmitt has emphasized with her patients, and she continues to apply these principles to her own life and family. She has also enjoyed volunteer opportunities with Seager Memorial Clinic in Ogden and Recycle Rice Eccles U. Of Utah with her family. When she’s not practicing medicine, Dr. Schmitt enjoys being with her family, running, skiing, gardening, reading and doing just about anything outdoors.
A provider's patient satisfaction rating is determined by patient responses to questions from the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) survey, administered by NRC Health.
Patients today have more choices than ever, including where, how and from whom they get care. That's why Revere Health believes it's important to provide access to transparent information, empowering our patients to make knowledgable decisions about their healthcare.
CAHPS surveys are funded and overseen by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) within the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
Patients receive the nine-question survey via email or phone call, and we publish provider ratings on Revere Health's website once he or she has at least 30 completed surveys.
