Hematology-Medical Oncology

Cammi Fruin, NP-C obtained a Bachelor of Science in nursing at Western Governors University and a Master of Nursing Science – AGNP at the University of Cincinnati. She has completed more than 500 clinical hours and has experience in primary care, women’s health, geriatrics, and oncology. She is board certified with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and specializes in medical oncology.

Cammi chose a career in nursing because she wanted to make a difference in the world by helping others. She believes in empowering her patients to make medical decisions by providing them with knowledge, autonomy, and dedicated service. Before completing her master’s degree, Cammi worked at the Huntsman Cancer Hospital for six years. While there, she enjoyed making a positive impact on the courageous patients who underwent cancer treatments. Each patient at the Huntsman Cancer Hospital taught her more about finding strength, persevering during difficult circumstances, maintaining family connections, and expressing gratitude. Cammi understands the importance of making each patient the author of their medical journey.

When she is not taking care of patients, Cammi enjoys hiking, biking, camping, and spending time with her family.
