Deanna Tolman, DNP, FNP-BC is a board-certified family practice nurse practitioner. Deanna completed her B.S. degree in nursing at the University of Texas at Arlington, her M.S. degree in nursing, specializing as a family nurse practitioner, at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice at Columbia University. She also completed her residency at the Columbia University School of Nursing.
Deanna chose her profession because it offered the perfect combination of science and caring that she was seeking in a career. She loves family practice because it offers the opportunity to care for the whole person, their family and therefore, the community. Deanna says her favorite part about her profession is being able to interact with her patients and help them improve their health.
Outside caring for everyone in the community, she enjoys reading, knitting and riding her electric bicycle with her husband. Deanna has four children and 10 grandchildren that she loves to spend time with. She loves humanitarian projects that give comfort and care to those who are less fortunate. She believes it is our obligation to raise others so there is less inequality of circumstance and opportunity.
A provider's patient satisfaction rating is determined by patient responses to questions from the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) survey, administered by NRC Health.
Patients today have more choices than ever, including where, how and from whom they get care. That's why Revere Health believes it's important to provide access to transparent information, empowering our patients to make knowledgable decisions about their healthcare.
CAHPS surveys are funded and overseen by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) within the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
Patients receive the nine-question survey via email or phone call, and we publish provider ratings on Revere Health's website once he or she has at least 30 completed surveys.
