Blitch Shuman, NP received a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Brigham Young University-Idaho, and a Master of Science – Family Nurse Practitioner from Brigham Young University. He is board certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and specializes in Urgent Care. He speaks English and Spanish.

Blitch believes that a career in healthcare is his calling in life. He chose to pursue medicine because he finds satisfaction in serving others and helping them improve the quality of their lives by building personal connections and establishing trusting relationships. Blitch strives to be a person that patients can trust when injury, disease, or ailment befalls them and uses his training and experience to be an anchor when others are at their most vulnerable. Having spent years as an ICU nurse, an operating room circulator, and as a hospital house supervisor, Blitch has extensive experience in 24-hour care and knows how to care for patients at every stage of life.

Blitch loves to spend his personal time with his family whose members are the greatest joys of his life. During high school, he bought and restored a 1969 Firebird that he still drives today. He loves to ride dirt bikes, four-wheelers, and go off-roading in beautiful southern Utah.
