Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Kiersten worked as a registered nurse for 12 years in a rural hospital with diverse experience in many areas of medicine, including labor and delivery, emergency care, medical-surgical nursing and pediatrics. Kiersten has a particular interest in family planning, women’s health, mental health, weight management and overall wellness.

She enjoys teaching her patients about their health and helping them truly become healthy through physical, emotional and mental means so they can enjoy life to the fullest.

Outside the clinic, Kiersten’s hobbies include spending time with her husband and their four children, participating in a variety of outdoor activities and gardening. She and her family also raise pigs and compete in livestock shows throughout Utah.
