Marilyn Sorensen, FNP

Family Medicine

As a family practice provider, my passion is to help people achieve their optimal health. My medical philosophy is centered on treating each patient as a whole, multi-faceted person rather than a symptom or a single condition. I work to provide competent and compassionate care and help my patients live better, just like our tagline, “Let’s Live Better,” says.

The most important part of providing individualized care is listening to patients. I believe health care providers should listen carefully to their patients to know how best to help and to get a clear picture of them as a whole. Patients know their bodies and how they respond.

When I’m not at the clinic, I enjoy playing the piano, riding my bike, doing outdoor activities with my family, and traveling. I speak English and Spanish.

Where does this provider's star rating come from?

A provider's patient satisfaction rating is determined by patient responses to questions from the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) survey, administered by NRC Health.

Patients today have more choices than ever, including where, how and from whom they get care. That's why Revere Health believes it's important to provide access to transparent information, empowering our patients to make knowledgable decisions about their healthcare.

Survey Details

CAHPS surveys are funded and overseen by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) within the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

Patients receive the nine-question survey via email or phone call, and we publish provider ratings on Revere Health's website once he or she has at least 30 completed surveys.
