Paula Bryant believes in educating and empowering patients to make healthy choices. This philosophy has been her focus since she began practicing in 2013. She especially enjoys teaching children about nutrition through hands-on food science experiments and has done so with Boy Scout troops and Boys and Girls Clubs.
Paula holds several undergraduate degrees: journalism and English at Utah State University, and food science and human nutrition at the University of Hawaii. She completed a dietetic internship at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. While learning nutrition, her interest in physician assistant studies emerged. She then went on to complete a Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Idaho State University. Paula has been practicing women’s health for the past year. She is also a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Paula lived in many small towns throughout Utah while growing up. She has also lived in Hawaii, Virginia and Idaho. She enjoys spending time with her son (her favorite pastime), hiking, biking, backpacking, fishing, exploring, reading, playing the piano, yoga, and cooking, and is fluent in American Sign Language.
