Shannon Walker, NP selected a career in family medicine because she loves providing meaningful service to those in need. Her favorite part of being a nurse practitioner is the ability to coordinate and emphasize preventive care to patients. She enjoys the challenge of figuring out what is happening and how to aid patients, as well as help them understand what can be done.

Shannon specializes in pediatric care and adores working with children. Her goal is to work hard to help ensure others have happy, healthy families. She is heavily involved in emergency preparedness and teaches medical triage and how to prepare for emergencies.

Family is her main focus in life outside of work. She loves getting together for Sunday dinner as a family and creating memories.
