Walstir Fonseca, MD has been an internal medicine physician at Revere Health for over 20 years and is experienced in treating a wide variety of conditions. She particularly enjoys helping women manage symptoms of menopause and hormone imbalance through natural hormone replacement. Dr. Fonseca also enjoys treating anxiety, depression, ADD, ADHD and insomnia.
As an internal medicine provider, Dr. Fonseca loves to help others improve their health, and she finds it rewarding when she can help her patients become happier and more productive.
Dr. Fonseca studied medicine at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She then completed her internship and residency at the University of Illinois, College of Medicine where she was also a clinical instructor.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Fonseca likes to travel, exercise, sew, scrapbook and play the piano.

CAHPS surveys are funded and overseen by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) within the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
Patients receive the nine-question survey via email or phone call, and we publish provider ratings on Revere Health's website once he or she has at least 30 completed surveys.
