Provo, UT – November 1, 2018– Family medicine physician Micia Roby, DO recently joined Revere Health Provo Family Medicine.

Roby grew up in Utah and first developed a love for medicine while volunteering for abroad in Africa. While attending Touro University Nevada School of Medicine she rotated with Dr. Heather Harrison of Revere Health, who helped shape her passion for family medicine and obstetrics.

“Dr. Roby is a very experienced physician and is a perfect fit to our team,” said Dawn Robinson, administrator for Provo Family Medicine. “We are thrilled to bring her expertise to our patients at Revere.”

Roby completed her residency in Phoenix at Abrazo Central Hospital where she served as chief resident, and then furthered her training in Seattle at Swedish Hospital’s Advanced Obstetric Fellowship, one of the top 10 busiest hospitals for deliveries in the nation. While there she sharpened her surgical skills, cared for high-risk pregnancies, treated vulnerable patients and increased patient access to healthcare.

“I feel so fortunate to return to Utah and be a part of Revere Health and Dr.Harrison’s team—from med school to now, it’s come full circle for me,” said Roby. “I love delivering babies, caring for both mom and baby after birth, and offering entire families the care they deserve.”

Revere Health Provo Family Medicine is committed to providing families with the best possible care. Services include routine check-ups, urgent care, OB care and delivery, pediatric care, skin care and adult care.
