Bio	Dr. David Frantz grew up in Franklin, VA. He is a graduate of Brigham Young University and attended the University of Virginia for medical school and residency. He completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of North Carolina and received a master’s degree from the Gillings School of Global Public Health. He received specialized training from the Nestlé Nutrition Institute Clinical Nutrition Fellowship program. Dr. Frantz has a general gastroenterology practice with a special interest in nutrition and clinical trials. He and his wife Catherine have three children. He enjoys outdoor activities such as camping, geocaching and traveling. He has his amateur radio license and loves spending time with his kids exploring new things.

I got a hemorrhoid banding done after wards I got super sick and ran to the bathroom. My body was put into shock and I am almost passed out at the dr. Office. The nurse took my vitals and gave me some water to drink. They put me back in my room I laid on the bed. The nurse let the dr know he was very concerned and was very apologetic. My mom finally came and my boyfriend to pick me up. Dr Frantz told my mom how sorry he was for how sick I got after wards. He gave my mom is personal cell number to make sure I was doing okay after I left the office. I have had dr Frantz do 2 colonoscopy on me and endoscopy done as well. He was very nice and professional. I would recommend him to anyone.
