Juan Hernandez, PA-C


Bio	Juan Hernandez, PA-C, received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and his Master’s degree in the Physician Assistant program from Rutgers University in New Jersey. He is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and he is a native Spanish speaker. When Juan was a teenager, he endured a major injury that tremendously impacted his life. During the recovery process, he was amazed by the care he received from multiple providers and was deeply appreciative of their work. This led him to a career in healthcare. Before attending physician assistant school, Juan had the opportunity to work as a lead physical therapist technician and optometry assistant. In these roles, Juan learned to provide excellent and compassionate healthcare by treating each patient the way that he would like to be treated. Juan believes that patients are more welcoming to receiving medical care when they are treated with compassion and respect. Juan loves to spend time with his wife and three kids. He enjoys being outdoors in nature and watching movies. He also loves playing sports, especially soccer.
