Revere Health Gastroenterology welcomes Alan B. Erdmann, MD

 

 

SPANISH FORK, Utah – June 28, 2019 – Alan B. Erdmann, MD recently joined Revere Health as its newest gastroenterologist.

Erdmann is from Springville, Utah and grew up in Utah County. He received his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Brigham Young University where he graduated cum laude. He then received his Doctor of Medicine degree at Duke University and completed a fellowship at the Carolinas Medical Center. Erdmann has also authored or been involved in nine research publications and presentations.

“We know that Dr. Erdmann is going to be a great addition to our community and clinic, and we look forward to his future here in Spanish Fork,” said Kathy Zeyer, administrator for Revere Health Gastroenterology.

Erdmann was drawn to gastroenterology because it reminds him of the skills he learned when he was an electrician and it allows him to develop long-term relationships with his patients. He will begin seeing patients in Salem and Spanish Fork on July 1. His services will include endoscopic procedures such as upper endoscopy and colonoscopy, diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases, IBS and IBD management and hepatitis C treatment.
