PROVO, UT – August 23, 2017 – Revere Health is expanding its services into Salem and Payson this month, offering both nephrology and dermatology care as well as increased access to family medicine.
“The addition of these physicians will provide people in the area more convenient access to specialized healthcare services,” said Revere Health Payson and Salem Administrator Melodie Chapple. “Now, more residents can receive quality care from exceptional doctors without having to drive too far north.”
James Crouch, MD, Reed Garza, MD and John Sanders, DO are expanding their services in the area to meet the needs of the growing communities in Salem and Payson. Revere Health Salem Campus will also eventually house a DaVita dialysis center to make the procedure more accessible for patients who need regular dialysis.
“Communities in the Salem area have been underserved in terms of nephrology and other specialties for many years,” said Crouch. “I’m excited to fill the need and do my part in giving these communities the healthcare they deserve.”
Crouch, who previously practiced nephrology in Provo, will be accepting new patients at the Revere Health location in Salem. He practices general nephrology and offers care for patients with electrolyte abnormalities and resistant hypertension. He also provides kidney transplant management and dialysis.
Garza recently completed his dermatology residency at Duke University in North Carolina and is now accepting new patients at both Salem and Provo Revere Health locations. Garza offers care for a wide variety of skin conditions and diseases, including conditions that are both cured rapidly and those that require chronic management.
Sanders practices a broad scope of family medicine and most recently practiced in Moab, Utah. During his six years in Moab, Sanders gained extensive experience in dermatology, sports medicine, obstetrics and pediatrics. Sanders speaks Mandarin Chinese (fluent) and Spanish (working proficiency), and is now accepting patients at Payson Family Medicine near Mountain View Hospital.
