PAYSON, Utah – July 29, 2019 – Dr. Derek Vanhille recently joined Revere Health as its newest ear, nose, and throat (ENT) specialist.
Vanhille is relocating from Wauwatosa, Wis. He received his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Utah then went on to receive his Doctor of Medicine degree at Virginia Commonwealth University and complete his residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Vanhille has been involved with five different research studies and helped develop a virtual surgery planning tool for obstructions in the nose.
“We are excited to add Dr. Vanhille to our ENT department. Along with his recent training with the latest advancements in the field, he will bring new energy to the practice,” said David Eldredge, administrator for Revere Health Ear, Nose and Throat in Payson. “Dr. Vanhille will be instrumental as we establish an ENT presence in Spanish Fork and continue serving our patients in south Utah County.”
Vanhille grew up along the Wasatch Mountains. He was drawn to the ear, nose, and throat specialty because of the variety of patients it allows him to treat in the clinic and in the operating room. He enjoys building relationships with his patients and helping them through the healing process. He will begin seeing patients in Payson on July 29. His services will include treating ear disease, hearing loss, nasal and sinus disease, problems with the mouth, throat and neck, thyroid and parathyroid disease, and voice and speech problems.
I get the most satisfaction from helping my patients improve their quality of life,” said Vanhille. “I look forward to taking care of the people of Payson and their families.
