Utah County, UTAH – August 19, 2021 – Toby Johnson, MD recently joined the Revere Health Provo Orthopedics department as its newest orthopedic surgeon. He will begin seeing patients at the end of September.
“We are thrilled to have Dr. Johnson join our organization,” said Justin Pinegar, an administrator in the Revere Health Orthopedics department. “Dr. Johnson is a renowned orthopedic hand surgeon with over 15 years of experience. He has an excellent reputation among his peers and patients as a skilled surgeon and an even better human being. He is relatable, careful, and able to explain complicated medical procedures in a way that patients understand.”
Dr. Johnson obtained a Bachelor of Science in business administration at the University of California, Berkeley, a post-baccalaureate degree in premedical sciences at California State University, and a Doctor of Medicine at the Cornell University Medical College in New York, New York. He also completed a general surgery internship at the University of California, San Francisco, an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center, and a hand and upper extremity surgical fellowship at the Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Johnson is board certified with the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery with added qualifications in hand and upper extremities. He specializes in orthopedic surgery and hand/upper extremity surgery.
