Orem, UTAH – May 1, 2020 – Aaron Starbuck, MD recently joined Revere Health as the newest family medicine practitioner at Wasatch Family Medicine in Orem.
Starbuck attended medical school at the University of Nevada School of Medicine and completed his residency in family medicine at the Martin Army Community Hospital in Fort Benning, Georgia. He specializes in obstetrics, pediatrics, adolescent and adult medicine, women’s health, acute care and preventive medicine.
“I’m very happy to join the remarkable team at Wasatch Family Medicine,” said Starbuck. “My family, like many others, have had medical challenges that continue to help me relate to my patients’ unique needs during these stressful times.”
Starbuck volunteers at United Way’s Volunteer Care Clinic in Provo and participates in medical humanitarian work through the Army Reserves and LDS Charities. He is currently delivering babies at Orem Community Hospital, Timpanogos Regional Hospital and Utah Valley Regional Medical Center.
Revere Health Wasatch Family Medicine, formerly Wasatch Medical Center, has served the needs of the Orem, Utah community since 1965. The clinic’s humble beginnings began in a two-bedroom home, with each bedroom as exam rooms, the kitchen as a laboratory and the living room as a patient waiting area. The founding physicians quickly realized they needed more space to meet the growing needs of the community.
The clinic started out as a true family practice clinic,” says Dr. Scott Peterson, son of Wasatch Medical Center cofounder Dr. David Peterson. “We’ve tried to keep that feel in the clinic as much as we possibly could.
As a longtime family practice in the community, Revere Health Wasatch Family Medicine has seen some of the same patients for decades and has even delivered more babies than the total population of some cities in Utah. Services include acute care, chronic disease management, prenatal and postpartum care, delivery and virtual appointments.
Revere Health is the largest independent multispecialty physician group in Utah and employs more than 200 physicians and 190 advanced practitioners. Founded in 1969, Revere Health has grown to include more than 100 clinics in both urban and rural areas throughout Utah and Nevada. Revere Health providers offer complete healthcare at every stage of life with multiple family practice locations and 30 medical specialties. As the first Accountable Care Organization accredited by Medicare in Utah, Revere Health is a leader in value-based care, which focuses on improving scientific measurements of health outcomes and lowering overall costs care. Revere Health takes a unique, patient-oriented approach to healthcare.
