St. George, UTAH – June 29, 2021 – Dr. Zachary George recently joined Revere Health as the newest interventional cardiologist at the Revere Health Heart of Dixie St. George Cardiology center. He will begin seeing patients at the end of July.
“We are delighted to have Dr. George join our St. George team,” said Paul Broadhead, division administrator for the St. George Multi-Specialty Clinic. “Dr. George is an exceptional person who cares deeply about people. We are lucky to have him.”
Dr. George obtained a Bachelor of Arts in chemistry, magna cum laude, at Hanover College in Hanover, Indiana, and a Doctor of Medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine, graduating in the top 10 percent of his class. He also completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Indiana University and a general cardiovascular disease fellowship at the Krannert Institute of Cardiology where he served as the chief fellow of cardiology. Additionally, he completed a coronary and peripheral interventions fellowship at the Krannert Institute of Cardiology. Dr. George is board certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular disease, and internal medicine. He specializes in cardiology and interventional cardiology.
I fell in love with Utah in 1998 when I first visited,” said Dr. George. “I have wanted to live here for the last 23 years and finally have had an opportunity to bring my family here from South Carolina. If you have ever been somewhere to visit and just had the feeling that you were home, then you know how I feel about Southern Utah. The canyons and mountains are my favorite places in the world, and I look forward to making an impact on the people of Utah.
