Dr. Troy Lunceford is a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) designated Senior Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) authorized to perform Class 1, Class 2, and Class 3 aviation medical exams, BasicMed examinations, and HIMS evaluations. Please review the information below before scheduling your appointment.
Aviation medical exams are offered by appointment only. Please call our office to schedule with our AME. In certain situations, flight physicals and consultations may be eligible for insurance coverage, such as when addressing medical concerns or determining FAA medical qualification. If your FAA examination is completed as part of an annual wellness visit, it may also be covered by insurance.
Before your appointment, visit the MedXPress website to complete your Application for Medical Certification. You will need to create an account if you do not already have one. Once your application has been submitted, you will receive a confirmation number. Please bring this confirmation number with you to your appointment.

On this website, you will need to create an account and then proceed with an Application for Medical Certification. When you complete the data entry and submit you will receive a confirmation number. FAA Flight Physicals

Status Reports
Learn About Status ReportsStatus reports may be required. There are medical conditions and medications that require status reports from your treating provider in order for you to be medically certified. You will need to provide this at the time of your exam. When you schedule your appointment we will provide instructions regarding these reports.
