Dana Munn, DO


Bio	Dana Munn, DO obtained his Bachelor of Science in biology with a minor in chemistry at Southern Utah University and completed his Doctor of Osteopathy at Des Moines University. He finished his medical residency at St. Vincent’s hospital and specializes in family medicine. He also specializes in pediatrics. He speaks fluent Spanish and conversational Portuguese. Dr. Munn has always loved the investigative work that is inherent in medicine. While he was in high school, he watched a retired family doctor stitch his father’s finger back together. During the procedure, Dr. Munn was impressed with the doctor’s efforts to save his dad’s finger and was fascinated with how well the procedure went. After this experience, he knew that he wanted to dedicate his life to medicine so he could help people. Dr. Munn chose to specialize in family medicine because it allows him the opportunity to use his skills in all facets of medicine. He enjoys participating in every aspect of his patients’ care—from pediatrics to adulthood. When he is out of the office, Dr. Munn enjoys woodworking, tinkering, soccer, racquetball, fishing, biking, hiking, and camping with his family.
