Heidi Turpen-Folks, PA-C


Bio	Heidi Turpen-Folks, PA-C earned her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from University of California, Riverside, and her graduate degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Western University of Health Sciences. In 2007 she completed her PA Fellowship in Orthopedic Surgery from Arrowhead Orthopedics/ARMC in Colton, CA. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Heidi’s dad influenced her to pursue a career in medicine because she was always fascinated to hear about his daily work as a paramedic. She became an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) at the age of 18 and worked full-time while attending college. Six years of experience as an EMT solidified her pursuit of becoming a Physician Assistant (PA). She values the opportunity to help others regain and maintain their functional mobility so they may continue to enjoy life to the fullest every day. In her free time, Heidi enjoys skiing, hiking, kayaking, off-roading, and DIY repurposing projects. She has also contributed to her community by participating as a member of the National Ski Patrol (NSP) for more than six years.
