Imad Jaafar, MD

Imad Jaafar, MD, earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Kentucky, graduating summa cum laude with honors. He then attended the University of Louisville School of Medicine, followed by a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Louisville. He completed his fellowship training in Gastroenterology at the University of Louisville and is board-certified in both internal medicine and gastroenterology. Dr. Jaafar specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of digestive disorders and provides a wide range of endoscopic procedures, including upper endoscopies (EGD) and colonoscopies.

Dr. Jaafar chose a career in medicine to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. He was inspired by his father, who served as a pediatrician in a small Kentucky community. Dr. Jaafar is passionate about building strong relationships with patients and helping them achieve better digestive health through compassionate, evidence-based care.

With more than five years of post-fellowship experience, extensive training, and over 15,000 endoscopic procedures performed throughout his career, Dr. Jaafar brings deep expertise and a patient-centered approach to every visit. He chose Revere Health because it allows him to focus on what matters most—providing exceptional care and meeting the needs of his patients.

Outside of work, Dr Jaafar enjoys gardening, playing video games, and watching basketball.
