Bio | Kirk Leininger, MD, earned his Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Nutrition from Brigham Young University and his medical degree from the University of Utah. He completed his internship in internal medicine and his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. Dr. Leininger specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation, focused on helping patients restore function, reduce pain, and improve quality of life. He takes a collaborative approach to care, encouraging patients to play an active role in their recovery and long-term wellness. With more than 25 years of experience, he provides non-surgical care for conditions such as spine and head injuries, stroke, and nerve disorders. His expertise includes image-guided injections, electrodiagnostic testing, and helping patients regain mobility and independence. He is fluent in French and American Sign Language and is board-certified by the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Leininger is passionate about teaching patients how to take charge of their health through lifestyle habits such as nutrition, exercise, and a positive mindset. Outside of work, he enjoys running, hiking, gardening, cooking, and serving in his community. |
