Bio	Lauren Vieira, PA-C obtained a Bachelor of Science in biology at the University of Massachusetts in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, and a Master of Science – Physician Assistant Studies at the Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. She specializes in dermatology. Lauren has always enjoyed learning and solving problems. She fell in love with the sciences during college and decided to pursue a career in medicine so that she could help others. She strives to listen intently to each patient to build a relationship of trust and understanding. She also continuously educates herself on the latest medical principles to support her patients. She chose to specialize in dermatology because it is a very hands-on discipline that allows her to cure and treat chronic diseases with new treatments, such as biologics. Lauren especially enjoys surgical dermatology and has worked hard to become an expert in many types of suturing techniques. She also has a lot of experience treating patients with psoriasis, and she is passionate about helping her patients discover their best skin. When she is not taking care of patients, Lauren is passionate about singing and playing her keyboard. She also enjoys hiking, skiing, needlepoint, reading, and cooking.
