Meagan Hardy, FNP

Meagan Hardy, FNP, AGACNP, MSN-Ed, obtained a Bachelor’s in Nursing and a Master’s in Nursing Education from Grand Canyon University. She continued her education at the University of South Alabama with a dual focus in the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Adult Gerontological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) programs. She has professional experience in critical, emergency room, and cardiac care.

Meagan is board certified with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and has both Acute Care and Family Practice Certifications.

Meagan has an extensive background in nursing education and was a faculty member at Arizona State University, Creighton University, and Utah Valley University. Meagan chose a career in healthcare because she loves interacting with people. She also loves helping her patients understand their health, and she encourages them to have a voice in their care. She feels that teaching opportunities should not be limited to the classroom, because education is fundamental to patient care. Educating patients about their health empowers them to make the decisions they need to take control of their health.

When Meagan isn’t in the clinic, she is home with her family. They love traveling and experiencing other cultures, music, theater, dancing, hiking, playing sports, and spending time together.
