Bio | Rodney Briggs, PA, received his Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He earned his Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Bethel University in Tennessee. He specializes in the management of chronic illnesses including hypertension, congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and associated risk factors. Rodney is board certified by the National Commission on Certification for Physician Assistants (NCCPA). He also has a certification in emergency medicine. Rodney was mentored by his friend who was also a physician assistant and loved the career. Through this mentorship, Rodney discovered his natural ability to communicate with patients and educate them on their health.This inspired him to begin a career as a physician assistant. Rodney’s experience in emergency medicine and primary care taught him how to diagnose and manage acute and chronic cardiac conditions. Rodney is excited to provide quality care to the people of Southern Utah and help educate them on preventative care. Rodney and his wife have five children who participate in multiple sports. He and his wife spend a great deal of time attending their childrens’ games and camping in the mountains. |
