Bio	Spencer Nielson, MD obtained a Bachelor of Science in chemistry, summa cum laude, at Southern Utah University and a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Utah. He also completed a family medicine residency at the McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah. Dr. Nielson is a member of the Utah Medical Association and the Utah Academy of Family Physicians, and he specializes in family medicine. Dr. Nielson sought a career centered on science and life-long learning, which led him to practicing medicine. Much of his passion for family medicine stems from his desire to help underserved rural communities. He grew up in a small town and has a great love for rural communities, so he is honored to practice medicine in a community similar to his hometown. Dr. Nielson strives to offer compassionate care built on understanding and trust. When he is not taking care of patients, Dr. Nielson enjoys hiking, camping, skiing, and snowboarding.
