Inspired by my grandfather who was a doctor, I always had an interest in the medical field. I subspecialize in the spine, including adult and pediatric deformity (scoliosis), degenerative conditions, trauma and orthopedic trauma (complex fracture care). I have a special interest in spinal deformities and spend a significant amount of time every year working with the world’s most renowned spinal deformity surgeons to gain the most up-to-date skills.
During my orthopedic surgery residency at University of Southern California, USC was an extremely busy level 1 trauma center. I gained my passion for orthopedic trauma at that time, and it continues to this day. I am the orthopedic surgery trauma liaison for Utah Valley Regional Medical Center, a level 2 trauma center. It has become my mission to make trauma care in Utah Valley the best it can be.
I find joy in helping people and seek to do what is necessary to improve their health. I place great importance on communication with patients every time I see them. At our clinic, I enjoy my partnership with other providers in the division, where we each have our own niche and rely on each other. I know that people who come to Revere Health have the opportunity to receive comprehensive care and also benefit from our excellent facilities.
Outside the clinic, I enjoy time with family. I have seven children and 15 grandchildren. I enjoy traveling, hiking and playing and listening to music. I play several instruments including the organ, keyboard and bass guitar.
A provider's patient satisfaction rating is determined by patient responses to questions from the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) survey, administered by NRC Health.
Patients today have more choices than ever, including where, how and from whom they get care. That's why Revere Health believes it's important to provide access to transparent information, empowering our patients to make knowledgable decisions about their healthcare.
CAHPS surveys are funded and overseen by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) within the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
Patients receive the nine-question survey via email or phone call, and we publish provider ratings on Revere Health's website once he or she has at least 30 completed surveys.
