Bio | A native of West Jordan, Utah, Dr. Jones pursued his education first by earning his bachelor’s degree at Brigham Young University and then his medical degree at The George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. After graduating from medical school, Dr. Jones served six years in the U.S. Navy. During his military service, he completed a residency in family medicine at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton in California, received his board certification and spent a year overseas in Afghanistan. Dr. Jones is a certified member of the American Board of Obesity Medicine and board-certified in family medicine. Dr. Jones and his wife, Sue, have four children—three girls and a boy. Dr. Jones is fluent in Spanish and enjoys all aspects of family medicine, including pediatric, adolescent and adult medicine. |
