Steve Wallentine, MD

Steven Wallentine, MD obtained a Bachelor of Science at Brigham Young University and a Doctor of Medicine at St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. He also completed an internship and residency at the University of Nevada School of Medicine and a fellowship at the University of Kansas Medical School. He is board certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine and specializes in hematology and oncology.

Dr. Wallentine strives to ensure his patients are properly educated and informed about their health because he understands the value of patient empowerment. Dr. Wallentine takes extra time to work with patients and their families to develop a healthcare plan specific to their needs and goals. In every patient interaction, Dr. Wallentine prioritizes listening with compassion and helping each patient find health, healing, and happiness.

When he is not taking care of patients, Dr. Wallentine enjoys spending time with his family, volunteering with the Boy Scouts of America, serving in his church, and traveling.
