Revere Health OBGYN provider Dr. Douglas Allen recently retired from the military after a storied 30+ year career.
Colonel Douglas A. Allen began his military career in the late 1980s as an enlisted member where he served three years as an airborne qualified combat medic. He was deployed to Iraq multiple times and completed many medical-related assignments along the way.

More recently, he served as the Utah Army National Guard State Surgeon from March 2019 until his retirement in March 2023. His primary duties were to ensure the medical readiness of 5700 soldiers of the Utah National Guard and to oversee the career management of UTARNG medical providers. With COL Allen’s influence as the State Surgeon, the UTARNG ranked in the top three states for medical and dental readiness throughout the duration of this time in that position.

Lindy Nonnenmacher, OBGYN office manager, attended his retirement ceremony and had this to say about Dr. Allen:

He is one of the kindest most dedicated physicians I know. Dr. Allen has a love for his country and those he serves. His wife, Aimee, and the rest of his family have been amazing supporters throughout his career.

We congratulate Dr. Allen and thank him for his commitments both to Revere Health and to our country.
