Salt Lake City, UT – November 1, 2018 – Olympus Eye Associates, home to ophthalmologists David W. Dodds, MD and David Brockbank, MD, and Optometrist Stephen R. Brockbank, OD, is joining Revere Health Provo and Salt Lake Ophthalmology.

Stephen and David Brockbank, brothers, developed a love for medicine at an early age from the example of their grandfather who was a family medicine physician. Both received an undergraduate degree from the University of Utah and then pursued post-graduate degrees.

Stephen graduating from Southern California College of Optometry with honors in 2002, and completed his training at the Moran Eye Center, VA Salt Lake City, Eye Foundation of Utah and Colorado Optometric Center.

David graduating from Albany Medical College in 2003 and was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. David completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Missouri- Columbia.

Dodds was also attracted to the field of medicine from the time he was young. He believes the medical field is a noble profession that can make a lasting impact on people’s lives. He graduated from St. Louis University School of Medicine and completed his residency at St. Louis University Eye Institute. Dodds is the director of the Utah chapter of the non-profit organization Respectacle.

“We are thrilled to see growth of Revere Health’s ophthalmology department,” said Brad Nelson, administrator of Revere Health Ophthalmology in Provo. “These new physicians bring additional services and skills that will help us provide better care to patients, and we look forward to what the future holds.”

All three doctors bring a patient-centric mindset, valuing every person that walks through their door and providing a kind, genuine care experience. They understand that eyesight is a precious gift and meticulously work to help address each individuals’ concerns or needs.

“I love developing relationships with my patients and the people I work with,” said Dodds. “I feel great fulfillment in my work when a patient leaves happy and healthy.”
