PROVO, UT – August 13, 2017 –David Perry, DO recently joined Revere Health as the newest cardiologist in Revere Health’s Cardiology Department.

Perry was first introduced to medicine in his teens and developed a fascination of the cardiovascular system while working as an EKG technician during school. He attended medical school at A.T. Still University-Kirksville in Kirksville, MO. He completed his residency at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center and his fellowship at the Banner University Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ.

“Dr. Perry has a strong desire to provide excellent patient care,” said Paul Wyner, Revere Health Cardiology Administrator. “He worked for us in our echocardiography department and we are excited to have his expertise return to Utah County.

In addition to treating his traditional patients, Perry has traveled to Samoa with the Rheumatic Relief program to screen, educate and assist in treating children and adolescents suffering from rheumatic heart disease.

Perry will be working in the Payson, Provo and Orem Cardiology locations. He will offer several services at Revere Health, including general cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, diagnostic cardiac catheterization and cardiovascular computed tomography.

When I first started medical school, I found myself constantly gravitating back to cardiology” said Perry. “I love being able to work as a team with my patients to improve their cardiovascular health.

The Revere Health Cardiology department treats patients with a variety of heart conditions, including heart attacks, atrial fibrillation, heart murmurs, heart disease and congestive heart failure. The specialists are also trained surgeons and can perform surgery at all the major hospitals in Utah.
