Updates on Orthopedic Transition
What is changing with Revere Health’s orthopedic department?
Several of our Utah County orthopedic physicians have left or are planning to leave Revere Health by October 31, 2026 to pursue other opportunities outside the organization. We will continue to offer orthopedic services in American Fork, Spanish Fork, and at a new location in Vineyard that will open early 2027. Our interventional pain and spine services will continue to be available in Orem and Salem.
How will I know if my orthopedic physician is leaving?
You will receive a letter in the mail as well as an email that will include your physician’s departure date as well as the phone number of their new practice, should you wish to continue seeing them.
What if I’m already being treated by one of the physicians who is leaving?
Post-operative patients who are still within their follow-up period should continue their post-operative care with their surgeon. Patients currently receiving active treatment from a departing physician may choose to continue care with that physician at their new location or transition their care to another Revere Health physician.
Can I still come to Revere Health for orthopedic care?
Yes. Our orthopedic and musculoskeletal team is here and ready to care for you. They’ll have access to your medical history, so you can continue your care without starting over. If you see other Revere Health providers, nothing about that changes—you can continue seeing them as you always have.
Why are some orthopedic physicians leaving Revere Health?
Some physicians are leaving to form their own practice, while others are joining other healthcare organizations in the area. They are leaving on good terms, and we are grateful for the care they have provided.
Will Revere Health still offer orthopedic care in Provo?
After October 31, we will no longer offer orthopedic care in Provo. We will offer orthopedic care in the following Utah County locations:
- Spanish Fork: 972 North 600 East, Spanish Fork, Utah 84660.
- North Valley: 1184 East 80 North, American Fork, Utah 84003.
- Vineyard (Opening in early 2027): 307 North Geneva Road, Vineyard, Utah 84059
We will continue to offer interventional pain and spine services in:
- Salem: 555 West State Road 164 Salem, Utah 84653
- Orem: 700 West 800 North #100 Orem, Utah 84057
Do I have to wait until Oct. 31 to schedule orthopedic care?
No. Revere Health’s orthopedic and musculoskeletal services are available now, and new patients can schedule care today.
Can Revere Health help if I don’t know whether I need surgery?
Yes. In many cases, musculoskeletal conditions can be treated without surgery. Our orthopedic team can evaluate your condition, provide nonsurgical treatment when appropriate, and connect you with an orthopedic surgeon when surgical treatment is needed.
What types of conditions can Revere Health help with?
Revere Health’s orthopedic and musculoskeletal services include care for knee, shoulder, hip, hand, wrist and elbow conditions; sports injuries; musculoskeletal concerns; and interventional spine and pain needs. Some additional specialties, including total joint and foot and ankle services, are being actively recruited, so availability may vary.
Is Revere Health’s interventional pain and spine specialty changing?
No. Revere Health’s existing interventional spine and pain services continue, and access has not been interrupted by the orthopedic transition.
