| Dr. Thorpe grew up in Salt Lake City. He received his MD degree and completed an Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Utah. He completed a Gastroenterology Fellowship at the University of Arizona in Tucson. Upon completion of his fellowship, he and his family returned to Provo in 2006 when he began his Gastroenterology practice at Revere Health. He has a particular interest and focused training in treatment of Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Dr. Thorpe and his wife Laura have 4 children. They enjoy traveling and experiencing other cultures. He is an avid cyclist, enjoys the outdoors, and loves cooking |

He was very kind and his nurses were great.
Everyone in the Endoscopy unit at Dr. Thorpe's office was very kind and helpful. When I met with him he paid great attention to my history (having had a few bad experiences with my previous endoscopies. He was very thorough in explaining how he was going to handle things so that we didn't have any punctures, etc. He was very kind and his nurses were great. He also recommended a medicine that will fix the underlying condition causing me to need dilations, which no other doctors have done before! I would recommend Dr. Thorpe to anyone needing endoscopy procedures.

He is by far my favorite.
I haven’t had Dr. Thorpe as my doctor, but I was in the room with him for multiple procedures as a nursing student. I have to say I was so impressed with his bedside manner, and with the respect he shows his patients, even when they’re sedated.
