Bio | David Pratt, MD obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English at the University of Utah and a Doctor of Medicine at the Saint Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. He also completed an internship at the Saint Louis University Hospital and a residency at the Barnes Jewish Hospital. Dr. Pratt is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and specializes in radiation oncology with a sub-specialty in stereotactic radiosurgery. Dr. Pratt has always enjoyed studying the sciences and believes human anatomy to be a masterpiece. He enjoys developing personal relationships with his patients and strives to provide the best care possible. Dr. Pratt decided to specialize in radiation oncology during his third year of medical school when his father was diagnosed with prostate cancer. “At the time, I knew nothing about this treatment. As I explored the field, I was drawn to the blend of advanced medical technology and the high level of patient care and interaction.” Dr. Pratt strives to be an effective listener for his patients and to provide them with a space that helps them feel as comfortable as possible. Fighting cancer is never easy, but Dr. Pratt endeavors to provide care that will have the greatest impact. When he is not taking care of patients, Dr. Pratt enjoys backpacking, cycling, and reading. |
