| John Staheli, MD obtained a Bachelor of Arts in zoology at Brigham Young University and a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Utah. In addition to his education, he completed an internal medicine internship and residency at the University of Utah. He is board-certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Sleep Medicine and specializes in internal medicine and sleep medicine. He speaks English and fluent Portuguese. Dr. Staheli chose medicine because it allows him to serve and help people every day. He enjoys building quality relationships based on compassion and trust. Dr. Staheli believes strongly in educating patients on the importance of a holistic approach to treatment plans, including exercise, diet, and the proper medication. Proper education allows patients to feel comfortable and safe while they navigate through their path to healing. When he is not taking care of patients, Dr. Staheli enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis, golfing, going mountain biking, camping, skiing, singing, and playing the piano. |

Easy to understand
I have been seeing Dr. Staheli for years, after my neurologist thought that, I may have a sleep disorder. He was so kind to me, so when I started to think that my teenage sons may have sleep issues, I made appointments for them as well. Dr. Staheli is not only kind, but he explains everything in such detail that it's so easy to understand. His PA and all of his staff are always so kind. I always hear them laughing in the halls. It not only sounds like a great place to work, but the people have all proven to me and my family, that the only place to go for sleep disorders is to Dr. Staheli.

He listens and cares
Dr. Staheli has been my doctor for years, and he is the best one I've ever found. He has a wide breadth of knowledge and not only works with CPAP needs, but has diagnosed the poymialsgia rheumatica I suffered from and helped me get through a long recovery. I find that he listens and cares and is willing to take into consideration my own ideas about my health-related journey. . His staff is friendly, and has treated me with respect.
