Matt Armstrong, MD


Bio	Joseph “Matt” Armstrong, MD obtained a Bachelor of Science in Asian studies, magna cum laude, at Brigham Young University and a Doctor of Medicine at the Baylor College of Medicine. He also completed a urology residency at the University of Utah School of Medicine. During his doctorate, Dr. Armstrong was nominated for the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He specializes in urology, robotic surgery, prosthetics, microscopic surgery, endourology, and urologic oncology. He speaks fluent English and Japanese. Dr. Armstrong knew at a young age that he wanted to become a physician. He enjoys building relationships with new people and loves to help patients find healing and happiness. He finds ways to make his patients laugh because he believes that laughter is the best medicine. Dr. Armstrong works hard to ensure that patients have a safe and rewarding experience when they visit him. Dr. Armstrong has a passion for fixing things and enjoys surgery because it allows him to find solutions to complex problems. When he is not taking care of patients, Dr. Armstrong enjoys spending time with his family, going on vacation, going out to eat, golfing, fishing, playing basketball, and playing strategic board games.
