Mara Swenson, NP

Mara Swenson, NP, is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in medical-surgical care. Mara earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University and completed her Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner focus at Spring Arbor University. With a strong foundation in both nursing and advanced practice care, Mara brings a compassionate, patient-centered approach to her work. She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is a two-time recipient of the prestigious DAISY Award for excellence in nursing.

Mara finds great fulfillment in supporting patients during their most vulnerable moments. Her career as a nurse practitioner has allowed her to expand her clinical knowledge and care management roles while still maintaining the empathy and human connection that inspired her to enter healthcare in the first place.

Outside of work, Mara enjoys spending time outdoors and going for rides on her motorcycle. The beach is her happy place, and she makes it a priority to visit as often as possible. She’s also passionate about live music and loves attending outdoor concerts with friends and family.
