Tanner Harmon, MD

Tanner Harmon, MD obtained a Bachelor of Arts in political science at Brigham Young University and a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Utah School of Medicine. He also completed an internship at the Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center, a diagnostic radiology residency at Creighton University, and a musculoskeletal radiology fellowship at the New England Baptist Hospital. Dr. Harmon is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and specializes in diagnostic radiology with sub-specialties in musculoskeletal diagnostics and interventional radiology. He speaks fluent English, Serbian, Croatian, and Russian.

Dr. Harmon chose to pursue a career in medicine because he wanted to make significant daily contributions to the health and happiness of his patients. He is a dedicated provider who is meticulous and detail-oriented with every aspect of his work. Accuracy is vital in the radiology field, and he prides himself in taking extra care to ensure that his data is correct.

“Radiology is among the broadest specialties in medicine. I worked hard to learn everything I could throughout medical training, and I wanted to put that broad knowledge base to good use. Radiology allows me to do that. I also appreciate the interactions I share with so many intelligent physicians from other specialties each day. Learning from them and their experiences is one of the highlights of my job.”

When he is not taking care of patients, Dr. Harmon enjoys spending time outside with his family, running, biking, hiking, playing tennis, and dancing with his daughters during family dance parties.
