Bio	Terry Hammond, MD obtained a Bachelor of Arts in biology, cum laude, at the University of Texas and a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. He also completed an internal medicine internship and residency at the Navy Hospital in San Diego, California, and a nephrology fellowship at the University of California and Navy Medical Center in San Diego, California. For two years, Dr. Hammond served as a lieutenant and battalion surgeon for the 2nd Light Anti-Aircraft Missile Battalion/Marine Air Control Squadron based in Yuma, Arizona. Dr. Hammond is board certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine and specializes in chronic kidney disease and nephrology. Dr. Hammond treats every patient with compassion, respect, and understanding. He empowers his patients by involving them in the treatment planning process and ensuring their questions get answered. Dr. Hammond puts the health and happiness of his patients first and strives to stay on top of current medical practices so that he can better serve his patients. When he is not taking care of patients, Dr. Hammond enjoys spending time with his family and playing sports.
