Zach Gibson, PA-C obtained a Bachelor of Science in neuroscience at Brigham Young University and a Master of Science – Physician Assistant Studies at Yale University. He specializes in family medicine but has received additional training in pediatrics, public health, preventative care, and acute orthopedic/sports medicine care while completing his master’s degree. Zach speaks Mandarin Chinese and basic Spanish.

Zach chose to pursue medicine after working as a medical scribe. As a scribe, he realized that there was an incredible opportunity to educate and work together with patients to help them understand their health. He particularly enjoys educating and working together with multiple age groups and relishes the chance to make an impact in their lives. He chose to specialize in family medicine because it is a great place to build long-lasting relationships. Zach especially loves to work with newborns and watch them grow up, teach adolescents how to take control of their health, accompany young adults through the journey of aging, help middle-aged adults take measure to prevent disease, and join together with the elderly to keep them enjoying life to the fullest. He understands that no two patients are alike and strives to create an environment where every patient can be the captain of their health.

When he is not taking care of patients, Zach enjoys teaching piano lessons to children, volunteering at his church, and helping run science experiments for young student tours at Brigham Young University. He also enjoys speaking in Marvel movie quotes, playing games, and cooking and eating delicious food.
