Having acne is embarrassing, especially as an adult. We all thought that acne was for teenagers going through puberty, and once we were all done with that we’d be okay. Yet, occasionally we break out with a few zits here and there.
Acne is a problem for about 40 to 50 percent of adults, and 54 percent of women over 25 years still get acne. Some of the leading factors for breaking out is due to hormones, stress, and eating certain foods. On a good note, there are some options to help limit getting the occasional zit by drinking water, taking off makeup at night, and washing your bed sheets.
If you’re still breaking out with zits as an adult, don’t stress about it because it will only cause more zits to appear. Instead of getting stressed, come meet with our dermatologists at Revere Health to get a professional recommendation for you.
