Bruce Larsen, MD grew up in Sandy, UT and has lived in Pleasant View with his wife and six children since 2002. He graduated in human biology from Brigham Young University and from Saint Louis University School of Medicine at the top of his class. He completed McKay-Dee’s family medicine residency program in 2003 and has been board certified since 2003.
Dr. Larsen has 16 years of family medicine and urgent care experience. He served as the lead physician for the North Ogden Instacare for nine years and as the regional lead physician for the Weber/North Davis Intermountain InstaCare clinics for three years.
He also develops and implements quality-improvement initiatives and enjoys teaching residents of the McKay-Dee Family Medicine residency program. Dr. Larsen received the Physician of Excellence award from the Intermountain Medical Group in 2016.
Dr. Larsen’s goals include helping patients receive evidence-based, high-quality medical care at the lowest possible cost and he treats every patient as carefully as if he or she were his own family member. He recommends medication or other treatments only when necessary and when supported by good evidence, and safety of his patients is Dr. Larsen’s top priority.
Outside of work, Dr. Larsen enjoys hiking, mountain biking, beekeeping, white-water rafting and traveling with his wife and six children.
A provider's patient satisfaction rating is determined by patient responses to questions from the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) survey, administered by NRC Health.

CAHPS surveys are funded and overseen by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) within the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
Patients receive the nine-question survey via email or phone call, and we publish provider ratings on Revere Health's website once he or she has at least 30 completed surveys.
