Bio | Bruce McAllister, MD received both his Bachelor of Arts in chemistry and his Master of Science in physics at the University of Utah. Later, he completed his residency at the Loma Linda University Medical Center. Bruce is board certified with the American Board of Radiology and specializes in Radiation Oncology. He speaks English and some French. Bruce began his career in medicine to combine his knowledge of nuclear engineering and physics with his desire to help people. He loves working in radiation oncology because of the precision with which he can target cancerous tissues. When working with patients, Bruce believes in considering all the options available. He works with each of his patients to establish effective goals, helps them to understand all the risks and communicates any potential complications. He wants all his patients to feel comfortable and confident in their health and provides alternative options. Bruce strives to provide high-quality medical care and patient satisfaction. Outside of work, Bruce enjoys spending time with family, especially riding ATVs in the Manti/ La Sal Mountains where he owns a cabin. He serves in several administrative positions both inside and outside the clinic and currently serves on several committees including the executive, compensation and finance committees. |
