Emily Payne, PA-C

Emily Payne, PA-C obtained a Bachelor of Science in biology at Southern Utah University and a Master of Science – Physician Assistant Studies at the Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Provo, Utah. In addition to her education, she has experience in dermatology, internal medicine, behavioral medicine, pediatrics, women’s health, family medicine, general surgery, orthopedics, and emergency medicine. She is also skilled in fluoroscopy-guided joint injections and suturing wounds. Emily is board certified with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and specializes in family medicine.

As a native of Castle Dale, a rural community located in Eastern Utah, Emily witnessed many community members going without medical care. While obtaining her undergraduate degree at Southern Utah University, Emily worked for several years in dermatology and provided care to the surrounding rural areas of Southern Utah. Through these experiences, Emily knew that she wanted to dedicate her life to helping people access the healthcare they need to lead happy and healthy lives. She enjoys treating a wide variety of illnesses at every stage of life.

When she is not taking care of patients, Emily enjoys mountain biking, boating, snowboarding, spending time with her family, and enjoying the rich and beautiful landscapes of Utah.
