Gregory Smith, MD


Bio	Greg Smith, MD obtained a Bachelor of Science at Brigham Young University and a Doctor of Medicine at the George Washington University School of Medicine. He also completed an internal medicine internship at the University of Utah, a diagnostic radiology residency at the Indiana University School of Medicine, and a digital imaging fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Smith is board certified with the American Board of Radiology and specializes in fellowship training in musculoskeletal MRI and advanced CT applications. He speaks fluent English and Spanish. Dr. Smith believes that medicine is a satisfying profession and chose to become a radiologist because he wanted to improve the lives of patients in meaningful ways. As a medical student, Dr. Smith enjoyed participating in all medical specialties, but he quickly realized that effective patient treatments first required an accurate diagnosis. That’s why he decided to become a radiologist and devote most of his time to the diagnostic side of medicine. He is also involved in imaging-guided therapy, needle biopsies, and injection treatments for pain. When he is not in the office, Dr. Smith enjoys many outdoor activities including, hiking, mountain biking, and skiing.
